Choosing a tray

How do I know which size my capsules are?

Empty capsules are sold by number: 000 is the largest, 5 is the smallest. It is printed on the box you bought them in - or measure the closed capsule against the size chart on our how it works page.

Can one tray take more than one capsule size?

Some can. A tray is made for one hole diameter, and several sizes share that diameter - for example the 100-hole all-size tray takes 000 through 5. Every product card lists the exact sizes it accepts, so check that line before ordering.

How many holes do I need?

As many as you fill in one sitting. If you make a week of capsules at a time, a 25-hole tray is plenty; if you fill daily, a 60 or 100-hole tray saves passes across the tray.

What are the trays made of?

Food-contact MABS, ABS or acrylic, and the material is printed on every product card. Hand wash in warm water and dry fully before storing - they are not dishwasher-safe.
